Auto Login selects the clinic account you are automatically logged into when you sign in.

If you have access to multiple clinics or locations, Noterro can skip the selection step and take you directly into your chosen account.

• Avoids selecting the wrong clinic
• Useful if you only work in one location

Good to know

You can change your default login at any time if you start working with a different clinic.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

What it means

Two-Factor Authentication adds an extra layer of protection to your account.
After entering your password, you’ll also be asked to confirm your login using a code from your phone or authentication app.

Even if someone discovers your password, they still can’t access your account without the second verification step.

Updating Your Password

Auto-Logout

What it means

Auto-Logout automatically signs you out of Noterro after a period of inactivity.

Why it’s important

This prevents someone from accessing your account if you leave your computer unattended in a clinic or shared environment.

Example

If Auto-Logout is set to 24 hours, your session will end after 24 hours of inactivity and you’ll need to sign in again.

When to use shorter logout times

Shorter time limits are recommended if you:

• Access Noterro from public or front-desk devices
