Creating and Managing Waitlists

You can enable a Practitioner's waitlist and notify the Patient in several ways. With this feature, you can quickly view the practitioner's waitlist, add patients to a practitioner's waitlist, notify patients that are on a single practitioner's waitlist or notify Patients that are on multiple practitioner's waitlists, or notify individual Patients.

Add a Patient to a Waitlist through the Calendar

  1. Click on the Add button in the bottom left corner of the Calendar sidebar.
  2. Select the existing Patient or Add New.
  3. Select the Practitioner and Location.
  4. Set the Date Range (if applicable).
  5. Choose the Days of the Week.
  6. Click Save.

Add a Patient to a Waitlist through the Patient profile page

  1. Click on the Patient's name.
  2. Click on Appointments in the sidebar.
  3. Click on Join Waitlist.
  4. Select the Practitioner and Location.
  5. Set the Date Range (if applicable).
  6. Choose the Days of the Week.
  7. Click Save.

Edit a Patient Waitlist through the Calendar

  1. Click on the Show Waitlist switch in the bottom left corner of the Calendar sidebar.
  2. Click on View All.
  3. Filter by Practitioner (if required).
  4. Click on the Patient's name.
  5. Make Changes.
  6. Click Save.

Edit a Patient's Waitlist through the Patient profile page

  1. Click on the Patient's name.
  2. Click on Appointments in the sidebar.
  3. Click on the Three Dots of the waitlist you want to Edit.
  4. Click on Edit or Delete.
  5. Make Changes.
  6. Click Save.

View the Practitioner's Waitlist

  1. Click on the Show Waitlists in the Calendar sidebar.
  2. Click on View All.
  3. Click on the Practitioner's name.

Notify the patient of the Availability

  1. Click on Show Waitlist in the Calendar sidebar.
  2. Click on the Individual Patient's name to notify only them.
  3. Or click on Notify in the Calendar header to notify Multiple Practitioners .
  4. Or click on Notify in the Practitioner's match list to notify Patients that are on that Practitioner's list.
  5. Confirm any changes.
  6. Click Email.

Important Note: So that you know, you can only email or phone patients on the waitlist. Text notification is not available.

You can enable a Practitioner's waitlist and notify the Patient in several ways. With this feature, you can quickly view the practitioner's waitlist, add patients to a practitioner's waitlist, notify patients that are on a single practitioner's waitlist or notify Patients that are on multiple practitioner's waitlists, or notify individual Patients.

  1. Click on the Show Waitlists in the Calendar sidebar.
  2. Click on View All.
