Manage tips without being asked at checkout, set percentages

Tips are a way for patients to show appreciation for the care they receive and can be an important source of additional income for practitioners. Configuring tips in your Noterro allows you to streamline the process collecting tips. You can enable or disable tips from being asked at the time of checkout, and the predefined percentages.

Configuring Tips

  1. Login as the Admin.
  2. Click on the Gear icon in the top right header.
  3. Select Billing from the menu.
  4. Scroll to the Tips section.
  5. Check Enable Tips.
  6. Configure the Tip Calculations that show up in Invoices.
  7. Save.

At the moment, turning off the tip feature is the only way to stop clients from adding tips to the patient portal.
