Edit Finalized Clinical Notes Within 7 Days

You may need to edit a Finalized Clinical Note for various reasons. Depending on when the note was created, there are a couple of different ways to do this.

Before Seven Days

If your note is less than seven days old, you can convert your finalized note back into a draft note.

  1. Click on the Finalized Note.
  2. Click the Three Dots.
  3. Click "Revert to Draft" to change the finalized note back to a draft note.

After Seven Days

If your note was finalized more than seven days ago, you can add an addendum at the bottom of the finalized note, which will be saved to the note with the new date.

  1. Click on the Finalized Note.
  2. Scroll Down to the Addenda Section.
  3. Type your comments.

Important note: If you need to change a note beyond seven days since it was finalized, please submit a request, including the Clinical Note number. Optionally, this 7-day rule can be turned off for the Admin user of a clinic. If you would like this rule to be disabled for your clinic's Admin, please email support@noterro.com from the Admin email address of the clinic you would like to request this rule to be disabled.
